Diane Pitts has practiced in the fields of nursing and physical therapy for twenty-five years. Her favorite roles are wife to Darrell and mother to Jacob, Tyler, and John Will.  Other roles she enjoys include educator, missions advocate, women's speaker, and freelance writer.  She had also previously home-schooled her children for eight years.

After receiving a B. S. in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 1977,  Diane received a B. S. in Physical Therapy in 1986. She is a credentialed clinical instructor for the American Physical Therapy Association.

Diane and her family live in rural southern Alabama in a close-knit community.
